Dr. Allie Sharma @alliesharmamd is Physician, Psychiatrist, Mental Health Advocate and Podcast host of Mind Studios @mindstudiosny & Model Mentality @modelmentality.

Her interests include Clinical Psychiatry, Global Mental Health and Public Psychiatry and is committed to Mental Health Advocacy and Decreasing Stigma. Dr. Sharma recently launched Mind Studios, a platform for mental health podcasts and is a podcast host with the goal in mind to normalize the conversation on mental health.

 Here are Dr. Sharma's top tips for your daily mental health:

- Exercise regularly ( 20-30 minutes a day)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Sleep well⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Human Connection is important especially as we isolate⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Eat well, pay attention to your nutrition, supplements etc.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Meditation⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Create space for yourself even for 5 minutes⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Journaling⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Gratitude ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Be mindful of your alcohol & drug consumption⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Surrender to things outside of your control⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Honor how you feel, keep space to feel these feelings eg if it’s hard, it’s ok⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Take the time to reflect, what have been the lessons learnt?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Most importantly, if you need help, find the right help⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
